Case Study

Pole fuse blown on local farm - our team is onsite in 30mins!

4:45pm - Customer contacted branch with mains line failure.
Issue: Customer had wire hanging off the power pole, the power company had been to site but were unable to repair it due to poor condition of pole. Farmer was in the middle of milking when this occurred.

5:15pm - Onsite with our CAT generator 'Jenny'.

Technician: Hooked on our diesel generator from the workshop and headed straight to site to wire it in and get them up and running so they could finish milking that afternoon.  Returned to site first thing Saturday morning, working alongside the power company to get the new mains to the cowshed. We left the generator onsite throughout weekend so the farmer could continue to not only milk but keep his milk chilled and water running around farm for minimal disruption until site could have a powerco inspection the following Tuesday... because of course these things happen on a long weekend.

Outcome: Our customer was able to have all his amenities running throughout the weekend, saving him thousands in lost milk and keeping his stock well hydrated and healthy.

'Jenny the generator' saves the day!
