Our team of electricians are led by Graham, Lynne and Damian Silvester. We strive to provide the highest level of service. GET TO KNOW US

In 1976 two electricians got together and created ‘Silvester and Powell Electrical Ltd’. A company intent on looking after their customers and providing top quality service. All in a time when service and loyalty were paramount.

Years later Powell moved on and Silvester Electrical Ltd was born. Silvester Electrical grew with the needs of the local dairy community. This meant more electricians, and more office staff to provide the same great service. We’ve held onto these values, and they will continue to be a top priority for the next generation at Silvester Electrical. We take great pride in our work, we pass this on to our apprentices who have trained with us and are now qualified electricians.

We proudly support our local community through sponsorship for sports clubs and schools. Additionally, we donate our time to help with electrical requirements for community events such as the Fireworks Extravaganza and School Productions. We’re proud believer’s of locals supporting locals.

      Damian

      The next generation of Silvester, who also isn’t afraid of hard work either, but handles the more technical side of Electrical work such as programming and automation. He is a great problem solver and enjoys a challenge.

      Graham

      Graham is the Original Silvester, he thrives on showing the boys what hard work is made of and would much rather be out on the tools than in the office.

    • Lynne

      Lynne

      The welcoming voice on the end of the phone. She is a master at organisation and keeps the boys in line.

    • Heather

      Heather

      Your friendly first point of call for logging jobs or breakdowns. If Heather cannot help you, she will find someone who can.

    • Linda

      Linda

      Our longest standing employee, Linda has been in the electrical industry for 37 years and part of our team for 23 years. She takes care of the accounts and will help you with your queries.

    • Liam

      Liam

      Liam is a Morrinsville local, he may be one of the quieter team members but he sure knows what he’s doing. He has recently become a Registered Electrician.

    • Sam

      Sam

      Sam is an enthusiastic apprentice, being a qualified fitter turner before joining our team, he’s picking it up quickly. Also a local fireman and loves a good yarn.

      Devin

      Devin is the newest apprentice to join our team. He started out with us on work experience and fitted in so well he never left. He is friendly, positive and keen to learn

      Luke

      Originally from Cambridge, Luke is a registered electrician with a great knowledge of how things work and a great attention to detail.

      Caleb

      Caleb has been with us for 9 years. He is a hard worker, willing to do what it takes to get the job done and an important member of our team.

      Cody

      Cody is a friendly, cheerful member of our team who is working hard towards his registration. He has just returned from his OE and we are excited to have him back on the tools.
